Docu Avond: These Birds Walk

Showing a glimpse of the life of Abdul Sattar Edhi and his foundation.

Het is weer zo ver! Onze eerste docu-avond van het collegejaar, waarbij iedereen welkom is. Tijdens deze inmiddels populaire avonden brengen wij studenten in contact met elkaar en met onze studentenvereniging. Entree is gratis en eten/drinken wordt uiteraard verzorgd. De docu-avond vindt plaats op woensdagavond 5 oktober 2016 van 18:00 tot 21:00 uur in lokaal HG-KC07. De titel van de documentaire die we gaan bekijken en nabespreken is: ‘These Birds Walk’. De documentaire wordt getoond met toestemming van de officiële makers.

Simultaneously heart-wrenching and life-affirming, These Birds Walk documents the struggles of these wayward street children and the samaritans looking out for them at the Edhi foundation, found by the respected and inspirational Abdul Sattar Edhi.”
